Configuring My Printer for Windows
The preferred way to print is from a dedicated printer connected to your Lucid network. (Connect your printer your Lucid wireless network, don't forget to authorize your printer in your Lucid portal).
For convenience, it is possible to print to a printer on the host (typically your home) network.
To print to host network from Windows follow the steps below:
Click the 'Quick Links' on the left side menu.
Simply click 'Add Printer Connection' and follow the prompts.
- With your new printer connection added,
on your Windows machine go to Settings->Devices->Printers & scanners. - Remove any previous printers.
- Select 'Add a printer or scanner'.
- Select link 'The printer that I want wasn't listed'.
- Select 'Add a printer using TCP/IP address or hostname' and click 'Next'.
- Enter the IP address of the Lucid user's home printer and click 'Next'.
- After successfully adding your printer and giving it a 'Printer name' click 'Next'.
- Select 'Do not share this printer' and click 'Next'.
- Click 'Finish'.
- Please print a test page.
- Did you have success printing?
- YES? You're work is done!
- NO? Patience just a few more clicks
- Is it an HP printer? See image below ensuring to only select Port noted below:

- Click 'Ok'
