Connecting Lucid to the Internet via WiFi

Connecting Lucid to the internet using your host/home WiFi means no more Ethernet cables!


This also means being able to use Lucid to work securely at coffee shops, on airplanes, or during your next hotel stay.

Simple steps to connect Lucid to the internet using an available wireless network:

      1. Simple plug your Lucid gateway into power and make sure you are connected to your Lucid WiFi network on your device (e.g. laptop).

      2. Once connected to your Lucid WiFi network navigate to: http://local.lucidsecure.cloud:8080/

      3. Follow the guided steps.

Congrats, Lucid is now connected to the internet and you are now ready to position Lucid freely where you have power and a good host WiFi signal.


Lucid can connect to available 2.4GHz WiFi networks.
