Lucid - First-Time Onboarding
Step A - Validate your Account with Biometrics
With your smartphone, browse to https://portal.lucidsecure.cloud
Choose Login
Enter your email address (same email address you used when purchasing your Lucid subscription) then choose the right arrow
Choose Approve
Enter the code sent to your email address
Present your biometrics to your phone (finger or face). Apple users may have an additional approval step here
Enter your mobile phone number
Enter the code sent to your phone via text message
The page refreshes and you are logged in to your portal
Choose Accept to the Terms and Conditions
Step B - Get your Lucid Gateway Online
You have 2 options: To connect via your home WiFi network, follow the steps below. To connect directly via cable, plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the port directly next to the power connection on your Lucid gateway and the other end to your Internet router.
Plug in your Lucid gateway to power
Using your smartphone, connect to the WiFi network: Lucid_Setup
Enter the WiFi password: “cyberlucent”
If you are on an Android phone and get the message: “Lucid_Setup has no Internet access”, choose Yes to stay connected.
Using your smartphone browser, browse to http://local.lucidsecure.cloud:8080
Find your home WiFi network listed on the webpage
If your home WiFi network is not listed, choose “Scan for WiFi Networks”
Choose Connect next to your home WiFi network
Enter your home WiFi password
Choose Connect
Wait 30 seconds, then confirm that the middle LED light on your Lucid gateway is solid green. If it is still blinking after one minute, go back to #2 above
Your LR is now connected to the Internet and is ready to be added to your account
Step C - Add your Lucid Gateway to your Account
With your smartphone, browse to https://portal.lucidesecure.cloud
Choose Login
Choose Add Lucid Gateway
Follow the guided tour (you can skip the Connect to the Internet section since your Lucid is already connected)
